The Brother CV3550 is a combination of an industrial-style cover hem / coverstitch machine and a convenient home machine. The result is a high speed, long arm, heavy duty cover hem machine. The Coverstitch is most commonly found on the bottom/sleeves of t-shirts, but also on many many more garments, such as dance wear, swimwear, underwear and even wetsuits!

The Brother CV3550 has been designed as a coverstitcher rather than most other brands that are a spin off of an overlocker. This means it sews as a coverstitch should with all the dials conveniently located.
